Newgate College matriculates new students
Newgate College of Health Technology, Minna has yesterday matriculated new students of the College for the 2021/2022 academic session.
Speaking during the occasion, the Founder and Executive Director of the College, Mal. Hassan Nuhu congratulated the students and urged them to make good use of the opportunity to acquire requisite knowledge that will be of immense benefit to them.
In her speech, the provost of the College, Mrs. Hope Philomena Ajayi called on the matriculating students to be very serious in their academic pursuit in order to grab the best opportunity. She added that the College has put all the necessary equipment’s and facilities for the success of students’ academic activities.
She therefore called on the students to comply with the College rules and regulations.
The Provost also urged the new students to be bold, courageous and report any case of suspicious movement to the school authority.
The guest lecturer, Dr. Abdul Gambo Yunusa who delivered a lecture on the theme “Opportunity for Health Practitioner Towards Enhancing Government for Health Care Delivery Service Under Democratic Dispensation” stated that qualitative education and accessible health care facility is democracy.
Key highlights of the event included the administration of oath led by the Registrar of the College, Mr. Samuel Olatunbosun on the new students.
