The Newgate College of Health Technology and Newgate University Minna, both participated in the Jamb policy meeting for determining minimum marks for admission into Nigerian Tertiary institutions.
The meeting set the minimum score for admission into Universities in Nigeria at 140.
The meeting also pegged the minimum score for both Polytechnics and Colleges of Education at 100.
The decision was reached at the 2023 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria which took place at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) holds a policy meeting before the commencement of admission circle to determine unified minimum UTME score for Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.
