Samuel Aderinola of HEP Department wins Gold in both singles and doubles categories at Benin Junior International 2023 Badminton Championships.

Samuel Aderinola won Gold medals in both the Single and doubles categories while representing Nigeria in the Benin Junior International 2023 held in Ouidah, Benin Republic.

He won the singles Gold medal and doubles Gold alongside Saidu Aliyu in the Under-19 category. The annual event is organized by the Badminton Confederation of Africa.

The final year student of the Department of Health Education & Promotion presented his medals to the Provost, Mrs Queendaline Opara Iwuala, Deputy Provost, Dr John Akiboh and the Registrar of the College, Mall. Abdul-Hakeem Hussaini Baba at the College premises.

The Provost congratulated his on the historic feat and encouraged him to put more effort as she prayed he one day represents Nigeria in the Olympic games and other international engagements.
