College community comes together with local churches to celebrate a decade of blessings and milestones
Newgate College of Health Technology, Minna officially kicked off ceremonies to mark its 10th Anniversary Celebration with an Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service, marking 10 years of unity and gratitude.
The event, held at the College premises, brought together students, staff, faculty, and members of the local community from diverse denominations as well as the Provost of the Institution, Mrs Queendaline Opara Iwuala, Deputy Provost, Dr John Akiboh, the Registrar, Mall. Abdul-Hakeem Hussaini Baba, Management, Staff and Students of the Institution cutting across different faiths.
Others are the immediate past Provost, Registrar, Librarian, Management, Staff and friends of the Newgate Family.
The service featured a powerful message from the Guest speaker Dr. Isaiah Ayosoye Ayoola, Elder, The Apostolic Church, Minna Area, Niger State and Lecturer at the
Department of Estate Management and Valuation, Federal University of Technology Minna.
A colourful display, inspiring music, testimonies, and intercessory prayers led by pastors and leaders from various denominations, followed by a fellowship meal and networking opportunities.
Organized by the Newgate College 10th anniversary Committee for the Christian Thanksgiving Service led by the immediate past Provost, Mrs Philomena Hope Ajaji, the 10th anniversary service highlighted the College’s commitment to fostering unity and spiritual growth.
“Today, we celebrate not only our blessings but also our shared values of faith, hope, and love,” Queendaline Opara Iwuala, Provost of the Institution.
She added “this milestone event demonstrates the enduring spirit of cooperation and gratitude that has defined the Newgate College community over the past decade and this is just the beginning of better things to come’.
As they look forward to the next chapter, participants expressed their excitement and anticipation for continued growth, collaboration, and blessing.
Free Eye tests, cervical and Breast Cancer screening is scheduled to commence by 9:00 am at Newgate Hospital, Minna on Monday, 9th September 2024 as part of activities to commemorate the 10th year anniversary of the College.
