Newgate College 10th Anniversary Celebration Continues with Free Medical Outreach.

In continuation of its 10th year anniversary celebrations, Newgate College has launched a free medical outreach Programme, offering eye tests, cervical cancer screening, and breast cancer screening to the Newgate Family and surrounding community.

The program, flagged off by the Provost of the college, Mrs Queendaline Opara Iwuala, in her remarks noted that the free outreach Programme aims to promote health awareness and provide essential medical services to those in need.

The event saw a team of medical professionals led by Dr Yusuf Paiko, the Director, Mercy Eye Clinic, Minna conducted free eye tests, cervical cancer screening was offered by the Newgate Alumni in collaboration with Raise Foundation also offered free breast and cervical cancer screening via Pap smears and mammograms.

Hundreds of community members benefited from the programme, which also included health education and counseling sessions at the Newgate.
