Newgate College Of Health Technology, MInna was established in the year 2014 following the entire State and Federal Government requirement necessary for the establishment of a Monotechnic.
In pursuance of its statutory mandate of producing competent and efficient cadre of middle and low-level health staff, the Institution has embedded her doctrine, which can be seen in the vision and mission statement of the School.
The College started with 5 Programs as follows: Diploma in Community Health (CHEW), Environmental Health (EVT), Health Information Management (HIM), Human Nutrition and Dietititcs, as well certificate in Community Health Workers(JCHEW),
By the year 2016, National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician and HND Public Health Nursing Programs were introduced fully and duly accreditted. Additionally, Anasthesia Technicain and Pharmacy Technicain Programmes were approved in the 2018. while DIploma in Biomedical Science and Health Education Programmes were introduced in the year 2019.
