The Founder and Executive Director of Newgate College of Health of Technology, Minna, Mal. Hassan Nuhu has today called on stakeholders in the pharmacy sector to assist in providing job opportunities for the newly inducted graduands of the College.
He made this call during the First Induction Ceremony of the Pharmacy Technician Department of the school.
Mal. Nuhu in his remark urge relevant bodies to form a synergy in order to develop the young people. He also urged the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria to add more slots to allocation of students in the Pharmacy Technician field so as to accommodate more students in the discipline.
He therefore congratulated the inductees.
In her address, the Provost of the College, Mrs. H. P. Ajayi encouraged the inductees to take every opportunity that come their way and urged them to go further studies.
The provost advised them to be good ambassadors of the College wherever they are.
Highlights of the occasion included administration of Oath of Induction by the representative of the Registrar, Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria, Mrs. Toyin O., Induction lecture by Pharm. Dr. Mohammed A. Audi and presentation of awards.
