Welcome to Newgate College Of Health Technology, MInna. The College has been admitting and matriculating Students since the Year 2014, been the year the College started operations. From the above date till present (2021) the College has a total enrollment of one thousand, eight hundred and three (1,803) Students of which 3 sets have graduated.

Today a total number of two hundred and eighty four Students (284) are graduating from the following departments of the College:

• Community Health for Diploma – 95 Students and – 46 Students for Certificate program.

• Environmental Health – 16 Students

• Health Information Management – 12 Students

• Medical Laboratory Technician – 70 Students

• Nutrition and Dietetics – 30 Students

Distinguish guest I will not end this speech without mentioning one of the area where our educational sector must adopt to meet up with other nations of the world in teaching and learning.I talk about the Computer Base and Information technology learning system.  Newgate as a College had adopted this system even before the Covid – 19 pandemic.It has proved to be of great benefit for the College.

The College has continued to accord high premium to the issue of adoption and adaptation of information Communication technology in all the areas of the operations.

Newgate College of Health is first among her equals, most preferred, making significant contributions to the society, an efficiently run, self-reliant, sustainable institution and a  force to reckon with among tertiary Institutions in Niger State.The College has continued to focus on her pursuit of excellence in teaching, research and service to Society as enshrined  in our vision “To be a leading Health Technology Institution that trains and produces efficient health Professional in Nigeria.“Our Motto still remains knowledge, Excellence and Character. We have zero tolerance to any anti-social behavour associated with tertiary Education in Nigeria.
