In a show of respect and appreciation, the Provost of Newgate College of Health Technology, Minna, accompanied by the Registrar and the Quality Assurance Officer, paid a courtesy visit to RT. Hon. Ahmed Marafa Guni, Kakakin Minna and former Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly.
The Provost expressed heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished statesman for his unwavering support towards the growth and development of the College, particularly through the Ahmed Marafa Guni Award for Academic Excellence.
In his remarks, RT. Hon. Marafa appreciated the visit and reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining the award as his humble contribution to promoting and rewarding academic excellence.
The Ahmed Marafa Guni Award for Academic Excellence was first instituted at the maiden Convocation Ceremony of the College in 2018, where it was presented to the Overall Best Graduating Students. Since then, the award has been faithfully sustained and has become a symbol of motivation, inspiring students to strive for distinction in their academic pursuits.
