College Confident in the Outcome as Professional Examinations Conclude for the Year
The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) students of Newgate College of Health Technology, Minna have successfully completed the National Council Examination, conducted by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
The comprehensive examination, which included written, practical, and oral components, was held simultaneously across all accredited Colleges of Health Technology nationwide. It represents a major milestone in the professional journey of MLT candidates, assessing both their theoretical knowledge and practical competence in medical laboratory science.
Students of Newgate College expressed confidence in the process and satisfaction with their performance, commending the transparent and well-coordinated nature of the examination.
This exercise marks the final National Council Examination the College will partake in for the year, as all professional examinations for the 2024/2025 academic session have been successfully concluded. Upon release of the results, successful candidates will be licensed to practice as Registered Medical Laboratory Technicians in Nigeria, transitioning from academic training to professional service in the healthcare sector.
Meanwhile, preparations are in advanced stages for the 10th Convocation Ceremony of Newgate College of Health Technology, Minna, scheduled for Saturday, 11th October 2025. The event will celebrate the academic and professional achievements of graduating students and reaffirm the College’s unwavering commitment to Knowledge, Excellence, and Character.
