NEWGATE MLT STUDENTS EMBARK ON COUNCIL EXAMINAION

A Step Forward in the Pursuit of Professional Excellence

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) students of Newgate College of Health Technology, Minna have joined their counterparts nationwide as the National Council Examination, conducted by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), officially begins across all accredited Colleges of Health in the country.

The examination, which started with Paper I and II in a pen-on-paper format, continues tomorrow (Wednesday) with the practical session, where candidates will showcase their technical competence and laboratory skills. The process will conclude on Thursday with the oral component, marking the final phase of the rigorous professional assessment.

At Newgate College, the mood is one of focus, optimism, and determination, as students put years of training and dedication to the test.

The Provost, Queendaline Opara Iwuala, commended the students for their hard work and perseverance, expressing confidence in their ability to excel. She encouraged them to uphold the College’s core values of Knowledge, Excellence, and Character throughout the exercise.
